Let’s Hang Out Vol.1 - Reykjavík Dance Festival (2017)

Spanning over the last two weeks in August 2017, Let’s Hang Out Vol.1 was organised around workshops, gatherings, talks and residencies led by artists whose performance-related practices either take the meeting point between art, community and the city as a starting point, or wish to explore this relationship as an integral component of their practice.

Events took place at Tjarnarbío, Mengi, the Reykjavík Dance Atelier and the Iceland University of the Arts.

The events were supported by Reykjavík City, the Nordisk Kulturfond, Goethe Institute, Kulturkontakt Nord and the Iceland Ministry of Culture and Education, apap - Performing Europe 2020, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
