A month of events exploring the relationship between dancing and speaking.

Erna Ómarsdóttir and Margrét Bjarnadóttir collaborate with Philipp Gehmacher present new solos within the context of Philipp’s ongoing project walk+talk. Both presented over one night only, alongside Philipp’s own walk+talk solo.
Choreography Reykjavík host a night in the programme, with invitations to local artists to present work at the intersection of moving and speaking movement.
The festival gives a night to a whole host of choreographers undertaking the task of performing solos – with text as their only medium.
RDF is also participating in and initiating a full range of radio activities. Buda Kortrijk to broadcast their festival WE ♥ RADIO via the RDF website.
Throughout March, Radio Dance Forum will continue to broadcast in collaboration with National Radio show Viðsjá – with different international and local choreographers are invited to translate their practice into radio.
Events took place at the Reykjavík City Theatre, Tjarnarbío, the Reykjavík Dance Atelier, the National Broadcasting House and the Iceland University of the Arts.
The events were supported by Reykjavík City and the Iceland Ministry of Culture and Education.
Walk+Talk Reykjavík was nominated for the 2015 DV Culture Award.
Reykjavík Dance Festival as a whole was also nominated for the 2015 DV Culture Award.
