The Public Space Programme was an artistic and curatorial research platform situated in Reykjavík and London. The initiative was curated by Alexander Roberts in collaboration with Sigurður Arent Jónsson. Through workshops, labs, residencies and performances, the platform worked with young and established artists to research the meeting point between the performing arts and public space.

The Public Space Programme was supported by the City of Reykjavík, Nordisk Kulturfond, European Youth in Action, the Goethe Institute and Kulturkontakt Nord.

Activities took place in houses and spaces across both cities. The work initiated in collaboration with artFart festival and BAC in London.
